Step 1: Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Step 2: Dry the chicken Pat the chicken thighs completely dry with paper towels. Removing surface moisture helps the skin crisp.
Step 3: Season the chicken Mix salt, pepper, paprika, Kinder’s seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small bowl. Rub the seasoning evenly over the chicken thighs.
Arrange them skin side up on the baking sheet and drizzle lightly with olive oil.
Step 4: Bake the chicken
Bake for 30 minutes without flipping or moving the chicken. This allows the skin to render and become crispy.
Step 5: Make the glaze While the chicken cooks, whisk together: honeysoy saucegarlicapple cider vinegarred pepper flakes
Step 6: Glaze the chicken Remove the chicken from the oven and spoon the glaze over each piece.
Return the chicken to the oven and bake for another 10–15 minutes until caramelized and sticky.
Step 7: Broil for extra caramelization
For deeper color, broil the chicken for 1–2 minutes. Watch carefully so the honey glaze doesn’t burn.
